At Mirror Image Photo Booths, our work has always been about more than photos. It is about presence. It is about creating spaces where people feel seen, celebrated, and fully themselves. As a proudly Black and LGBTQIA owned company based in New Orleans, that commitment is deeply personal and deeply woven into the experiences we create.

New Orleans is a city built on culture, expression, and chosen family. It is also home to a vibrant LGBTQIA community whose love stories deserve to be documented with the same care, intention, and luxury as any other. We are honored to play a small role in preserving those moments.

Same Sex Wedding Ideas at NOMA

Few venues capture the romance and cultural significance of New Orleans like the New Orleans Museum of Art. Hosting same sex weddings at NOMA has been especially meaningful for our team. These celebrations were not only visually stunning, but they were powerful affirmations of love in a space that represents history, art, and progress.

For couples searching for same sex wedding ideas that feel elevated, personal, and rooted in culture, NOMA offers a setting that feels both timeless and bold. From two grooms sharing a joyful first look to two brides laughing together in front of our booth, these weddings showed how thoughtful design, intentional experiences, and authentic connection come together seamlessly.

Our goal in each experience was simple: create an environment where our couples could celebrate without explanation or hesitation. We approached these weddings with intention, using elevated lighting, refined backdrops, and thoughtful guest interaction to ensure every guest felt included, and every image felt timeless.

Black Pride NOLA

Black Pride NOLA holds a special place in our hearts. As a Black and LGBTQIA owned company, this event represents the intersection of our identities and the community we serve.

Our photo booth and video experiences at Black Pride NOLA were vibrant, affirming, and full of life. From solo portraits that radiated confidence to group shots filled with laughter and love, every capture told a story of belonging.

These moments matter. Black queer joy is often underrepresented, and we are intentional about documenting it with the respect and artistry it deserves.

Pride at NOMA was a celebration of community, identity, and collective joy. Activating our photo booth experience at this event allowed us to witness hundreds of moments of self-expression, connection, and pride.

Guests arrived bold, radiant, and unapologetic. Couples, friends, and chosen families used the booth as a space to commemorate not just the day, but who they are. For us, it was a reminder of why visibility matters. When people see themselves reflected in an experience, it changes how they engage with it.

Being present at Pride events is not a marketing tactic for us. It is alignment. It is participation. It is community care.

Why This Matters

Representation is not passive. It is built through action, visibility, and consistency. When couples and communities see themselves reflected in our work, they know they are welcome here.

As we continue to serve weddings and events throughout New Orleans, our commitment remains clear:

  • To create Affirming, Inclusive Experiences.

  • To document joy with Intention and Excellence.

Whether it is a wedding at NOMA, a Pride celebration, or a community gathering, we are honored to be trusted with these moments.

Love is art. Love is culture. Love belongs here. Troy + Orlando
